Every now and then I like to revisit what is becoming one of my classic artworks.

Scrubbed Out Spots is truly a series of artworks that changed my life and elevated my art career to heights that I hadn’t believed possible before.

Devised in 2020, this idea to white wash a Damien Hirst inspired spot painting came to me at a time when art was tough. Then 1 idea evolved my whole art process and took me from previous types of installation that I was creating to the contemporary and popart world, all using my miniatures.

This new version features a very lovely deckled edge, created by myself to give a little extra texture and dimension to the artwork. Not forgetting of course our little guy hard at work.

Finished in a Black wood grain frame with UV perspex ready to hang.
