A Coach bag reimagined into a July 4th celebration.

When I acquired this Coach bag I was instantly inspired by the New York vibe, and knew that this needed to be the direction for the artwork. I had then seen an article about July 4th and everything clicked. I’d use my dots to create Red, White & Blue fireworks alongside a New York skyline, both elements of my dot artwork that I had not explored before.

Quite often I have a vision for an artwork when I start it, and this one came out even better as I have endlessly gone back over all of the dots to refine everything.

Of course, my artworks are not complete until my little people are placed. Each of the miniature figures have been hand painted, some adjusted, whilst every USA flag has been carefully crafted, not to mention 3 tiny fireworks, again something I had never created.

All of this to celebrate July 4th, Independence Day, in style.

Finished in a Black wood grain frame with UV perspex ready to hang.
