Banksy would Hate this

Inspired by a comment I received about a previous Banksy related artwork I had shown on social media.

This type of trolling comment is something I became accustomed to over the years, and one day I finally came up with the idea of how to use this.

‘Banksy would hate this’ incorporates one of my most popular series ‘scrubbed out’ whereby the artwork is being painted over with white paint, which is of course itself inspired by street art. So here we have a completely scrubbed out Banksy Soup Cans artwork and our little troll tagging the artwork ‘Banksy would hate this’

Hand written by myself, in the most childish and naive way possible using pencils.
